Anime (pronounced AH-nee-may) Japanese Animation. Term most popularly used to refer to cartoons originating from Japan. Quite often, the main female characters have large, doe-like eyes. This term is also used to refer to the prevalent style in Japanese comic books or manga. The anime room at Conquest will be showing a variety of animated Japanese movies and series. The shows are usually geared towards the family audiences during the earlier parts of the day, and ranging into showings for older audiences later.
