The Australian Pink Floyd Show: A Kaxfen Adventure
The Australian Pink Floyd Show was formed in Adelaide, South Australia in 1988, and have been touring the world as the only "offical" Pink Floyd tribute band sanctioned by the original Floyd. AussieFloyd has been selling out shows in KC for the last ten years and it was a great treat to see them perform again last November at the Uptown Theater. Three lucky Floydian Kaxfen -- Ken Keller, Tracy Majkol and Mike McCain, went back to the beginning as AussieFloyd performed "The Dark Side of the Moon" in all its glory, with a great set list, a dazzling light show, and incredible vocal performances. Nearly three hours later, hoarse and exhilarated, we stumbled from the Uptown sad we will never get to see the original Floyd together on stage again, but happy to know we will get to enjoy AussieFloyd for years to come. We are making plans for next year's show, with even greater numbers of Kaxfen attending. See you next fall!
